[I think it translate to "Wolf shout as I consume my beautiful feathers."

  • I guess nobody would mind me necroing the comments if I can give the source for the bit text, given that I'm, as neo4812 put it, a god damned French.

It's actually a kind of garbled version of the first three lines from "Le Loup criait" ("The Wolf Howled/Cried"), by nineteen-century French poet Arthur Rimbaud (who's kind of a big deal here in ) in the book "Derniers vers" ("Last Verses"). The whole poem comes like this (hell if I know what that means, the guy liked his opium):

Le loup criait sous les feuilles(The wolf howled/cried under the leaves)
En crachant les belles plumes(Spewing the beautiful feathers)
De son repas de volailles :(Of his meal of poultry :)
Comme lui je me consume.(Like him I'm (self-)consuming.)

    Les salades, les fruits(Salads, fruits)
N'attendent que la cueillette ;(They wait for the picking)
Mais l'araignée de la haie(But the spider in the hedge)
Ne mange que des violettes.(Eats only violets.)

Que je dorme ! que je bouille(May I sleep! may I boil)
Aux autels de Salomon.(Unto Solomon's shrines.)
Le bouillon court sur la rouille,(The broth runs over rust,)
Et se mêle au Cédron.(And mixes with the Kidron.)
