MemberAccording to articles about this, "the goat testes were simply placed loosely into the scrotum" in place of the original organs, so they "had no effect" and "were generally broken down by the body". However, due to bad conditions during the surgeries (including the "frequency of operating while intoxicated"), many of them got infections and an unknown number of them died.
