We wanted Patch to inherit the design of the "Dragon Brothers" by JC, which are pretty well known. But we wanted the design to resemble a Western Dragon rather than easter ones.
Due to the incredible design of Saphira (from the movie Eragon) we decided to use feathered wings rather than the normal leather wings that are commonly used for dragons.
Basically that's how Patch was made. ^^

she isn't supposed to look like those two. We meant for her design to apply the same style like that one to western dragons, the feathered wings are inspired by Saphira's design in the Eragon movie. I'm really sorry for the trouble this is generating but I wanna make sure we can split our design off from MLP and establish it as a different entity.
