Also called Prudence, Aeon, or the Angel, the depiction is usually of the souls of the dead being called forth to face their ultimate judgment. In the R-W deck, it shows Gabriel summoning them by blowing a trumpet as the souls of the dead arise from their tombs amidst the waves of the sea and await what will come.
Judgement is exactly what it says on the tin: A day of reckoning. Everything that the querent has done comes down to this time. Upright, the card suggests one has gotten everything in order and need not fear the consequences to come. Reversed, the querent is going to be found wanting in some capacity and is apprehensive.
