MemberFun fact: This exact scene could've happened in the original Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop RPG IP since humans made into furries through cybernetics were real! They were called "Exotics." Wasn't implemented into the video game or anime though, which is quite sad, but understandable. Implementing them probably would've been too resource-consuming, and seeing the way Cyberpunk 2077 runs already, it's probably for the best.
