  • Also, why the heck would you care about mutable variables? They're CALLED variables! They can vary! Otherwise it's a constant. >:c

  • So they have a N8 poster. Does that mean they frequent 8chan's /furry/? Or is N8 just some kind of child celebrity in their universe? If so, why the heck is he naked?? Is he the sexless patron saint of programming?

    I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!

  • Lost me at mutible varible...

I thought I knew this kinda stuff. I guess all of those programming classes did nothing.

There goes $2000 dollars down the drain.

It's just a linguistic redundancy. Mutable/immutable is the same concept as variable/constant in mathematics.

Constants are defined at compile-time, immutable variables work somewhat closer to how they do in mathematics (i.e : "let x = 9", which gives a name to an otherwise arbitrary value, but you're still not expected to change it mid-calculation). I guess it's the kind of thing you only really deal with once you start dealing with functionnal languages, but it's far from pointless.

Noticed that, too. Guess they just needed to throw in as many as possible to introduce the smart 12 year olds
