Description

Sandra was trying to keep up her tanning routine after work, but things at the office had been keeping her very busy. She decided to spend a little extra time at the beach today to keep getting some sun kisses. But something kept disturbing her; she was hearing some clicking and clacking getting closer to her. Every time she picked her head up, all she saw was giant shells, sitting still. Nothing out of the ordinary, for this beach.

Finally, she sat upright, wondering if it was just the sound of choppy waves making the odd sounds. Then, it was upon her, and she found what little coverage she did have was being snipped away.

'Those odd soft people spend too much time in the sun,' thought the crab. 'They'll dry out if they're not more careful. Perhaps I'll pull that pretty one into my shell, and let her know that those little scraps of fabric aren't enough to protect her from the sun's harsh assault.'

Sandra wasn't sure what shocked her more; the sudden ambush, or how pleased she was to be trapped in close proximity to this creature.
