New video version of #453852, because #741314 is pretty bad. Not a perfect loop, but the best I could do.

First time converting .swf to .webm, hope everything's alright.

Yeah, I seem to have been dissapointed about the post #741314 myself as well.

Problem here is the nature of flash, which has scrolling background effects which are semi randomized, meaning you would need to make minutes long video just to get it loop perfectly. What I would do instead is to make background static and then capture the main loop which is only 26 frames.

So I made two modified flash files, other one I removed first frames charicard, so I got single frame to be used as background. Second, I removed all the possible background there was. Did some manual background removal and refining in gimp and then put everything together as webm file. Not perfect as I did it really fast.

I'm actually not sure do we need 26 second conversion of animation which is bit over second long, when looping isn't even near perfect anyway.

  • The length of the loop was to try and match up the clouds, had no idea how to stop the moving background. Would’ve done that otherwise.

And it isn’t a perfect loop, but at the end of the day, with an animation like this it’s not the background you’re looking at...haha.

I did the best I could anyway.

That... would've been best case of action, yes :P

But I don't have adobe flash nor knowledge how to modify them, I do know how to use decompiler and that can delete assets. But version where background is static would be of highest quality and perfect video conversion would took maybe 10 seconds for me at that point.

If that's at all possible, I would love to replace this and the earlier video conversion with actually good one, even better if you could do it directly.
