MemberNah. Tradition of everyone in the family becoming guardians; Nigel became a victim of it both when his whole childhood was shaped in that direction and when his parents decided that him not becoming Insta-Guardian, First Try was a reason to give up on him altogether.
Them putting undue pressure on him to follow in the family footsteps and become a guardian? She did, and she mentions repeatedly trying to talk them out of it in post #2809774. Being unpersoned for failing to become a guardian can't be a family tradition, since he's apparently the first one to fail.

Member1. Poor Toby and Nige, no child's toy sword or books should be so heavy. They weren't the usual knights, but my father and his three brothers were at odds with my hard-working grandpa. Toby is much like own father, only he traded out the sword for fantasy novels, and the impending guardian garb for a suit after ing the BAR and practicing law out of the home. I guess his armor is just as heavy, only the courtroom is his battlefield, and his blade is skilled.
